Rocktober Extra – The Majesty Of Rock
In the shade of a jungle glade
Or the rush of the crushing street
On the plain, on the foamy main
You can never escape from the beat
It’s in the mud and it’s in your blood
And it’s conquest is complete.
And all that you can do is just surrender

Not even mentioning metal, I see…
Tap not metal enough for ya?
Rocktober started with metal. There will be metal before Rocktober is over.
Tap? You bet. Anything softer than even Danzig is hardly metal. ; ) I’m living close to Scandinavia, so I’m biased a lot.
Metal never lost to Rock, but it never won either. It’s kind of off to the side in the Rock. Rap debate.

Yeah, I guess anything less than the guitarist killing the drummer on stage while the singer sets himself on fire is considered Lite Rock over there.
But we have rap, where G’s kill each other over shoes and diss songs.
This kind of crap never happens in Mahler’s 8th. Never.
An obligatory link to the famous Tenacious D scene.
Come on, the Varg/Euronymous affair was an exception, not the rule. Temple-burning nutjobs are with us at least since antiquity.
