The 20 Worst Photos Ever Taken According To Google

I have to wonder if some of them were photoshopped…

Others, I can only hope they were.

  1. Hey, nightsky

About 15 of those photos were serious lol funny.

Hope all is well in the world of blog discourse!

I didn’t notice the techno-Utopia theme in Hikaru Utada’s music until you pointed it out, but I’ve since caught it in several of her other songs when I checked.

Her first song is still her best. She was only 15 when she did it. Amazing talent at the time.

    Happy blogging!

    • The photos were pure awesome badness.

That song and video just screamed late 90s. I looked it up and sure enough, 1998. Turns out yesterday was her 30th birthday. I’ve only heard a couple of her songs before now, I’ll look up more.

  2. Have you checked out Kyari Pamyu Pamyu? One of the new sensations. Pure distillation of Harajuku ethos.

All her songs sound the same but the visual imagination is noteworthy. It will leave you asking, “What is it that I’m seeing, exactly . . . ?!?”

    • It will leave you asking, “What is it that I’m seeing, exactly . . . ?!?”

The Japanese seem to have unmatched skill at that sort of thing.

Guy, you need to get on WordPress or somewhere if you aren’t already and start writing about this stuff. Decent, if not necessarily great, music, Zappa, Monkees, insane videos, harajuku…. start writing.

  3. That’s very kind to say!

I’ll give it some thought but I don’t know. My recent blog activity includes going into a comment section full of sincere religious people and demonstrating the negative moral status of wanking via a graphic explanation of how it is incompatible with prayer. And for some reason I thought that was a really good idea. This makes me less than perfectly confident about my blogging abilities.

Maybe I could call my blog “What Do You Do for an Encore?” Kinda catchy, huh?

Plus most of my favorite music is classical and 70s jazz fusion. Not that many people are into it!

But here is another good/weird/hallucinogenic one from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu:

Level 10+ awesome! 😀 Was it SSM’s place? I saw something about that going on over there. I kinda got lost and don’t remember much about it.

I have really good ideas like that too, then later I wonder why on Earth I commented. Looking back, I’m a little surprised I haven’t been booted from a couple places yet for my, shall we say, clumsiness in certain areas.

Good name. That, or “Top This!” Post stranger stuff every time, until you hit the WTF?!? event horizon and switch up to some other topic.

    • I just watched the video. Maybe it makes sense in Japan. Maybe.

The keytar with a turntable was inspired, and was the the guy from the Lurch Fan Club drumming with nunchuks?

    • I just realized you Kyary-bombed this post.

Took me a few minutes to get that.
